Job Description OPEN POSITION: Physician - Gastroenterologist SCHEDULE: - Full-Time or Part-Time - No Nights - No Weekends - No Holidays - Minimal Low Volume On-Call Rotation - Schedule Details Negotiable CLINIC HOURS: - Monday to Friday - 8:30am to 5:30pm - Closed Weekends - Closed Holidays FULL-TIME COMPENSATION: - $600,000 Annual Income Potential - $425,000 Guaranteed Base Salary - 50% of Collections (after 2x base salary) - Partnership Track (after 2 years) - ASC Minority Ownership (after 3 years) - Malpractice Insurance - Health Insurance - Paid Time Off - $2,500 Annual CME Allowance - 1 Week CME Paid Time Off - License / DEA Fees Paid - 401k w/ 3% Match LOCATION: Mission Viejo, California COMPANY PROFILE: This physician-owned private practice has been serving the residents of Mission Viejo and the surrounding area for nearly 25 years. They have their own certified endoscopy center and affiliations with local hospitals. They boast a staff of 2 gastroenterologists, 7 nurses, 6 clinical assistants and technicians, and a dedicated administrative team. They are currently hiring due to growth and are excited to welcome a new physician to the team. POSITION DESCRIPTION: The new gastroenterologist will initially spend their time on 50% procedures and 50% consultations, follow-ups, etc. Once the new physician is settled into the practice, a physician assistant (PA) will be hired to partner with the physician and take over the majority of office-based visits, allowing the physician to focus on procedures (if desired - this arrangement is negotiable based on the physician’s preference). The practice has a certified endoscopy center, which has a fully-equipped procedure room, private pre-op and recovery areas, comfortable waiting room, and parking lot. The practice is also affiliated with two nearby hospitals. Physicians see an average of 20 patients per day in the office with the support of dedicated clinical assistants. Procedure days vary in volume depending on the types of procedures scheduled. The practice schedules dedicated administrative time for providers, utilizes an EHR, and has support staff in all areas.
