Position Description

As an Technician I/II, you will be responsible for working within the framework of a team and performing the following activities:

* Work with Engineers to rework PCBA's during prototype and development process
* Assist the Engineering team in the design verification and process verification/validation testing
* Develop documentation change requests and perform other documenting activities
* Execute engineering test protocols
* Identify problems and initiate improvements to current testing techniques/methods or working processes/products
* Communicate with various departments regarding actions required by the project engineering team

These activities must be carried out in accordance with all relevant standards as called out in the applicable SOPs and the Applied Quality Manual.

Position Requirements

This position requires the following skills and attributes:

* Minimum of a high school diploma
* Ability to work independently, resolve issues and manage multiple tasks and priorities
* Effective written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to rework and solder SMT/Thur hole components, build cable harnesses
* Ability to read and interpret documents such as assembly procedures, engineering drawing instructions, testing protocol and equipment procedures
* Mechanical aptitude (i.e. hands-on ability to test)


The following skills and attributes are preferred:

* Knowledge of IPC 610/J-STD-1 Soldered Electrical and Electronic Assemblies
* Electronic Technician Certificate or Technical school training
* Prior experience in the testing of medical device products
* Ability to use MS Office software programs such as Word and Excel
