Position Description As a Process Engineer I, you will learn and develop skills related to sustaining and improving production manufacturing processes as part of a cross-functional team. Responsibilities Receive guidance to complete the following: Sustain manufacturing processes Debug manufacturing processes and equipment via root cause analysis Run, observe and expedite shop orders Develop and update engineering documents such as process maps, process FMEA, manufacturing/quality Instructions, test methods, drawings, and test reports Collaborate with the Production team to identify capabilities and capacity Collaborate with the Engineering team for fixturing design and development, tolerancingand design for manufacturing Collaborate with tooling design teams (MIM, Stamping, Molding, etc) Position Requirements Requirements Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Biomedical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering (or equivalent) Working knowledge of computer-aided design (i.e. SolidWorks), spreadsheets, scheduling programs, and word processing Working knowledge of a variety of materials and mechanical designs Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams Effective oral and written communication skills Technical aptitude and detail oriented Preferred Preferred Qualifications Experience in engineering (i.e. internships or co-ops) Engineering capstone projects related to manufacturing or medical devices Experience with technical writing Familiar with manufacturing equipment and processes Working knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) Working knowledge of Statistical Process Control (SPC) Understanding of manufacturing and quality standards, including FDA regulations and ISO quality systems Benefits Training and mentorship with ongoing learning and development courses On-campus wellness activities Comprehensive medical and dental and vision coverage Education reimbursement program 401(k) program with discretionary employer match Generous vacation accrual and paid holiday schedule Options Apply for this position online Apply Share Email this position to a friend Refer Sorry the Share function is not working properly at this moment.
