Job Description:
Job Overview Under the lead direction of the Head of Discovery,
Access, Resources, and Technology Initiatives (DART) , the Library
Technology and Initiatives and Development Strategist, and the
general supervision of the Associate Dean, the incumbent
administers and supports technology applications, data stores,
information resources, and systems. The incumbent works closely
with Library departments, Instructional & Information Technology
Services (IITS), and vendors to help implement and support
technology solutions that fulfill the mission of the Library and
the university. Technical duties include working with Library
functional areas to develop functionality, resolve issues, prepare
documentation, test, evaluate, and configure complex applications.
Position Summary Web Development Specialist (Web Developer II) This
is a full-time, temporary, exempt position ending on or before one
year from hire date. Reappointment to this position is dependent
upon the individual's performance as well as administrative and
budgetary considerations. The university reserves the right to
terminate this appointment earlier than the scheduled expiration

Hiring Salary Range: $6,492 - $6,755 per month (step 1 - step 3)
CSU Classification Salary Range: $6,492 - $9,458 per month Salary
is commensurate with the background and experience of the
individual selected. This position is eligible for a broad range of
benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life and disability
insurances, retirement (CalPERS), tuition waiver, vacation and sick
leave. In addition, 15 paid holidays are offered each year; 14
scheduled on specific days and a Personal Holiday that may be taken
