Job Description:
A company is looking for a Remote Civil Structural Engineer for
Federal Services.
Key Responsibilities
Design and analyze changes to existing power plants and new plant
systems, including static and dynamic analysis for seismic
loads
Develop specifications for structural components and support
engineering design and analysis projects in the power industry
Perform site walkdowns to identify design solutions and develop
cost-effective problem resolutions while managing project design
modifications
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited
university
Professional Engineering License
Minimum 10 years of experience with power system design
Experience working on DOE federal projects
Knowledge of discipline-specific computer analysis codes and
familiarity with concrete and steel design codes
