Therapist opportunity is available in Lakewood, WA, offering a
contract position focusing on supporting students' physical
development and functional mobility within an educational setting.
This role is ideal for licensed therapists with a passion for
pediatric care and a commitment to enhancing student outcomes. Key
responsibilities include: Conducting assessments and evaluations to
identify students' physical therapy needs. Developing and
implementing individualized treatment plans tailored to each
student's goals. Collaborating with educators, parents, and
multidisciplinary teams to ensure integrated care. Providing
therapeutic interventions aimed at improving strength,
coordination, and motor skills. Documenting progress and
maintaining compliance with school and state regulations.
Participating in meetings related to Individualized Education
Programs (IEPs). Qualifications: Valid Physical Therapy license
approved in Washington State. Experience working within school
systems preferred. Strong communication skills to effectively
interact with students, families, and staff. Knowledge of pediatric
physical therapy practices and educational regulations. Ability to
adapt therapy approaches to meet diverse student needs. Commitment
to fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
Location: Lakewood, WA This contract position offers a dynamic
