Job Description:
Amazon MGM Studios (AMS) Financial Planning & Analysis
(FP&A) team is looking for a Finance Manager to support the
business and finance teams across theatrical film, third party
scripted & unscripted TV, MGM, consumer products and global
distribution, with a focus on managing the financial planning
efforts and direct ownership of the Profit & Loss consolidation.
This role will drive the core financial planning cycles, including
Month-End Close, Quarterly Guidance forecasts and Annual Operating
Plans, as well as ongoing controllership. Further, this role will
lead FP&A efforts around special projects, such as M&A and
business/system integrations. This role provides exposure to both
finance partners and business operations teams. Key job
responsibilities The successful candidate will have strong
leadership skills, solid business judgement capable of driving an
organization to the right results, strong business partnership
building, exceptional excel/systems skills, keen attention to
detail, and strong verbal and written communication skills. They
will have demonstrated success in a fast-paced, complex, global,
results-oriented environment. The team needs a self-starter, who is
able to work efficiently and autonomously. They must be able to
think and act both strategically and tactically and manage multiple
competing priorities effectively. • Lead month end, quarterly,
annual operating financial planning working cross functionally with
various teams, including Prime Video finance, accounting, and
business operations • Ensure data is accurately reflected in
financial planning systems, including Essbase and Cognos • Drive
process automation to streamline current processes and enhance
financial controllership • Ad hoc project support on company-wide
strategic initiatives • Analyze complex financial data and provide
accurate and timely reports to key stakeholders, highlighting key
insights and recommendations • Support the month-end close process
and ensure accurate and timely financial reporting • Assist in
developing and implementing financial policies, procedures, and
internal controls - 8 years of building financial and operational
reports/data sets that inform business decision-making experience -
8 years of applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to
analyses experience - 8 years of identifying incomplete or
inaccurate data, identifying the root cause and
creating/implementing an escalation plan experience - 6 years of
creating process improvements with automation and analysis
experience - 3 years of advanced proficiency in Excel (pivots,
lookups, etc.) experience - Bachelor's degree in finance,
accounting, business, economics, or a related analytical field
(e.g., engineering, math, computer science), or a CPA and
experience in accounts receivable or account payable - 6 years of
participating in continuous improvement projects in your team to
scale and improve controllership with measurable results experience
- 6 years of identifying incomplete or inaccurate data, identifying
the root cause and creating/implementing an escalation plan
experience - 6 years of mentoring junior finance and/or business
team members experience - 3 years of working with senior staff
(e.g. c-suite) experience - MBA, or CPA - Experience working with
large-scale data mining and reporting tools (i.e. SQL, MSAccess,
Essbase or Cognos) and providing recommendations based on results
of ad hoc analyses to management for strategic decision-making

this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include
sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final
compensation will be determined based on factors including
experience, qualifications, and location. Amazon also offers
